Data wrangling

We live in a data-driven world, but the reality is that data can be a dirty, inconsistent mess, and a huge obstacle for startups looking to use that data to fuel their AI and machine-learning innovations.

We help make this challenging process easier. Whether you’re looking for trusted advice, mentorship, or need help cleaning, organizing and transforming data, we can help.

Communitech has partnered with a number of data science vendors who are ready to collaborate with you, delving into the intricacies of your business and data challenges. They'll help identify tailored solutions to harness the full potential of your data.

We help tech companies:

  • Clean and label data sets required for ML/AI model development.
  • Rapidly enrich, train and manage your machine-learning models and proofs of concept.
  • Create reports and dashboards to help communicate and visualize your data.
  • Create synthetic training data for computer vision to develop deep-learning models more quickly and cheaply than with real-world data.

Our vendors are: Ample Insight and BeamData.

This service was incredible. Communitech outlined the program, defined the steps and made the whole process from start to finish simple and easy. This service allowed us to refine our new product, and elevate how it will be used with customers. All programs should be this simple, effective and high-value.”

As Ontario’s flagship initiative for the automotive and mobility sector, the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) is driving economic development and catalyzing a future that builds safer, cleaner and more efficient transportation.

The Regional Technology Development Sites (RTDS) support small- to medium-sized companies to develop, test and prototype their advanced automotive technologies and smart mobility solutions, and tap into specific advice, expertise and knowledge around key focus areas for the sector.

The seven RTDS are located in Waterloo, Ottawa, Hamilton, Durham, Windsor-Essex, Toronto and the newly added Northern RTDS that includes Greater Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Timmins, Temiskaming Shores, Sault Ste. Marie and North Bay. Each regional site focuses on a unique aspect of the automotive and smart mobility sector, such as hardware, security, data analytics and more.

    Thank you to our partners

The OVIN Network of Regional Technology Development Sites offer a wide range of support to help you develop, prototype and validate new technologies, as well as access specialized equipment (hardware and software).

You do not need to be a member to apply or participate in the OVIN program. Companies that are accepted into the program will have the opportunity to become Communitech members.

The OVIN program is open to Ontario startups and scale-ups with fewer than 500 employees. Non-Ontario companies that meet the criteria are encouraged to reach out to Mauro Rossi to get connected with suitable data services and alternative support options.

Whether you’re looking for trusted advice or mentorship, or need help cleaning, organizing and transforming data, we can help you use data to build or enhance your tech solution.

We are always happy to meet to understand your business and data problem and identify ways to make your data work for you.
