Nominations are now being accepted for the NYC Venture Fellows. The deadline to submit nominations for the class of 2015 is Monday, Sept. 15. In order to qualify, candidates must be nominated. Run jointly by the 92nd Street Y (92Y) and the NYCEDC, the NYC Venture Fellows is a year-long fellowship designed for high-potential entrepreneurs/startup founders. Fellows receive mentoring, networking and community-building opportunities, as well as continuing education and career advancement workshops, to measurably accelerate their careers. There is no fee associated with either program. Previous Venture Fellows are the founders of Makerbot, Warby Parker, Rent the Runway, Paperless Post, Songza, Etsy, FourSquare, Pencils of Promise, Catchafire, Artsy and many more.
