Waterloo Region, October 15th, 2013 – Featuring a lineup of amazing speakers, networking events and the HYPERDRIVE Demo Day, Techtoberfest will once again be taking over the Tannery Events Center on October 17th and 18th for a celebration of entrepreneurship, startups and local hospitality.

International entrepreneurs such as Alexis Ohanian (Reddit, Breadpig) and Jeff Hoffman (Priceline.com) will join with local leaders such as Stephen Lake (Thalmic Labs) and Carol Leaman (Axonify) to provide their insights on what it takes to start and grow a successful company.

In addition, startups in the third cohort of the Communitech HYPERDRIVE accelerator will pitch in front of investors, potential customers, mentors and the community at the Waterloo Region Demo Day on Friday afternoon. This will be the culmination of their three-month sprint and is a fantastic opportunity to see the next generation of entrepreneurial talent in the Waterloo Region.
