Four startups will receive mentorship, funding and first-pass access to Google for Entrepreneurs programming when they take up residence in the Google innovation space at the Communitech Hub this week.

In its third iteration, the popular program provides companies with six months of co-working space, enrolment in the Communitech Business Fundamentals course and direct access to Google experts. Startups who have taken advantage of the program include alumni  like collaborative video app Clipter, "API for the universe" SkyWatchFundmetric, which provides a way for charities connect with donors and stakeholders, and Aterlo Networks, which provides high quality streaming without buffering.

WeMesh combines the two most popular mobile activities – watching YouTube and chatting over text and VoIP – into one interactive experience. WeMesh’s mobile app enhances the delivery and utilization of synchronous mobile media experiences.

FunnelCake improves how sales and marketing teams make decisions by automatically connecting data from different sources like Google Analytics and CRM. FunnelCake provides easy to read and actionable reports that highlight important activities and suggest actions that will improve performance.

Coqui, in partnership with Gorilla Productions, is working on Filmtyme: a device to help prosumer videographers manually control focus on the new Google Project Ara modular smartphones and tablets.
