On December 28, 2014, twenty-five AIESEC Laurier members were bussed to the Marriott Hotel in Ottawa. They were there for AIESEC Canada’s National Congress 2015, a five day conference that started on December 30, 2014 and ended on January 3, 2015. Motivated student leaders from all over the country came together to gain leadership, strategic planning, and networking skills.
During the conference, Danial Mazhar Shafi was democratically elected as AIESEC Canada’s new president. His platform was largely based on creating a global presence—something that is important for businesses as well.
