Today, Pebble announced $15 million in Series A funding from Charles River Ventures. The smart watch maker that initially received funding via Kickstarter will use this latest round to increase the size of their engineering and software teams in order to meet customer demand. Pebble also announced an update to its software development kit (SDK). Although, currently supported on iOS and Android, developers plan to have it in BlackBerry World shortly.
Cloud management platform Auvik Networks announced Wednesday a Series A funding of $6 million secured through Celtic House Venture Partners, Rho Canada Ventures, BDC Venture Capital IT Fund and its founders. Auvik Networks plans to use this funding to speed up development of the platform in order to commercialize sooner.
